The cowboy-style bar featuring a mechanical bull and dancing, is slated to open May 12 with a Colt Ford Concert.
Details for PBR Atlanta, one of three venues situated in Live! At The Battery Atlanta, Monday were revealed.
The cowboy-style bar is scheduled to open May 12 with a free Colt Ford concert, according to a press release.
PBR Atlanta, branded by the Professional Bull Riders Association, will include a dance floor and stage, lounges and bars, and outdoor balconies with fire pits.
One of the main features is the mechanical bull, named “Druw” after former Braves player Andruw Jones, one of the only ones in metro Atlanta and one of the "meanest" in the world.
“PBR Atlanta will be the place to listen to country music, have great drinks and, if you have the nerve, try your luck on ‘Druw’ the bull,” Ben Brengle, director of operations for Live! at the Battery Atlanta, said in the release.
“PBR Atlanta will be “a Coors Banquet Bar,” pulling from the banquets cowboy heritage in its décor and attitude.”
PBR Atlanta, designed to reflect a “cowboy cool” and “urban chic” feel is located at Live! at the Battery Atlanta, the dining and entertainment district in The Battery Atlanta at SunTrust Park.
Live! destinations are developed by Cordish, an operator of dining, entertainment and hospitality districts and concepts.
