Sports & Social will host a grand opening April 21, Todd English Tavern will open its doors April 28, and PBR Bar will grand open with a Colt Ford concert May 12.

Upon opening, Live! at the Battery Atlanta will be a 365-day-a-year environment, providing a gathering space for locals and visitors alike. Live! at the Battery Atlanta is developed by The Cordish Companies.

Here’s a breakdown of the concepts:

Todd English Tavern will feature Todd English’s “neo-tavern” dishes and specialty drinks.

“I’ve been working on a menu that will be at once familiar and experiential for Atlanta diners,” English said in the release.

“I want to have some Southern-inspired dishes that we all know, love and crave, along with dishes that will surprise and delight the senses. I can’t wait for Atlantans to try it.”

Directly next to Todd English Tavern in Live! At The Battery Atlanta is sports bar and restaurant Sports & Social, featuring a 30-foot, high-resolution LED screen that will serve as a backdrop for watching live sporting events as well as social games and activities throughout the venue, such as ping pong, air hockey, shufflepuck, bocce ball and foosball.

“We don’t call it a sports bar, because it’s so much more,” Ben Brengle, director of operations for Live! at the Battery Atlanta, said.

“We do a lot of pre-game, in-game and post-game activation – we don’t even show commercial breaks! Instead, we do kiss cams and seventh inning stretches with our own in-house production crew. There’s nothing like it in Atlanta!”

The third destination in the Live! district is PBR Atlanta, a cowboy bar named for the Professional Bull Riders Association. Located upstairs, PBR Atlanta will feature a mechanical bull, a specialty drink menu, and dancing.
