On the heels of opening Live Edge Restaurant and Bar late-2016, Carlon Bellamy is moving quickly on a new cigar concept in adjacent space.

Bellamy this week began demolition on the forthcoming concept – Pull Cigar Bar  in West End, at 790 Cascade Avenue SW. Permits are being handled by Walter Jordan of The DWRC Group.

“Pull Cigar Bar won’t be like any cigar lounge you’ve ever seen,” Bellamy Tuesday in a telephone interview told What Now Atlanta.

“Most [cigar lounges] are geared towards men. At Pull Cigar Bar, I want men to introduce their women to cigars.”

Bellamy is looking to cater to woman at Pull Cigar Bar, making the concept a go-to for “date night” with a “very sexy” space and by “eliminating the smoke so that everyone, especially woman, can have a great experience.”

The roughly 3,000-square-foot space, complete with a deck for private functions, would be connected to sister concept Live Edge.

Pull Cigar Bar, expected to open late July, would offer live entertainment, cigar education workshops, and craft cocktails.

“We’re going to make our guests cigar aficionados, whether they’re lifelong cigar smokers or trying their first one with us at Pull Cigar Bar.”
