Construction plans show that Jack’s will be built at the corner of US Highway 82 and Marie Road in Albany, near a Love’s Travel Stop. There will be a drive-thru as well as dine-in seating.
The Jack’s menu includes burgers, chicken tenders, fries, shakes and breakfast items like hash browns and biscuits.
The Southern favorite is in the works elsewhere in the Peach State, part of the Jack’s expansion plans What Now Atlanta reported on earlier this year. A Jack’s just opened in Dawson, and according to Google, a new location at 207 East Oakland Avenue in Camilla is set to open Oct. 23. This will be the 24th Jack’s in Georgia, according to the company.
And the restaurant will continue to grow in southwest Georgia; a second Albany location is planned for North Slappey Boulevard, The Albany Herald reports.
Founded in 1960, Jack’s Family Restaurants began as a hamburger stand in Alabama. It has grown to about 240 locations in Georgia, Alabama, Mississippi and Tennessee.
