Led by Senior Vice Presidents Adrienne Crawford and Lily Heimburger, SRS is now leasing 50,000 square feet of retail space facing the recently-opened Atlanta BeltLine Westside Connector Trail. Set to deliver in late 2022, the retail at Echo Street West is positioned as a point of interest for pedestrians walking the 22-mile loop from downtown to the new Westside Park at Bellwood Quarry.

“At Echo Street West, we look forward to working with retailers that want to be a part of the growing BeltLine experience and to contribute to the historic Westside community,” Heimburger said in the announcement. “While this is on the BeltLine we don’t want it to simply be a carbon copy of other trail-oriented developments. We want it to be unique to the Westside. We are curating a high energy tenant mix that will complement the live-work environment being created and bring new business and new opportunities to a community that has long been underserved.”

Crawford and Heimburger have overseen leasing efforts for other in-town properties such as Krog Street Market, Stoveworks, SPX Alley, the Collective at Coda Tech Square, Modera Reynoldstown, and Midtown Promenade. There are not currently any tenant announcements for Echo Street West from the new team.

In addition to the retail opportunities at Echo Street West, plans call for the 16,000-square-foot Guardian Studios artist and makerspace, the 20,000-square-foot Guardian Works event space, and a new open-air bar and dining experience all set to deliver in Spring 2021.

When complete, Echo Street West will span 2.4 million square feet of mixed-use space. The first phase encompasses 300,000 square feet of creative office, 50,000 square feet of retail, 3.4 acres of outdoor entertainment and gathering areas and 300 multifamily units.
