“The 12th & Midtown district is perfectly suited for BurgerFi due to the area’s growing reputation as a unique blend of experiential and quality-focused concepts,” Nick King, BurgerFi’s Chief Operating Officer, said in the release.

“BurgerFi exemplifies each of those qualities and will offer midtown Atlanta diners a fast and fresh alternative that they can feel good about.”

The restaurant will occupy 3,600 square feet within 77 12th, a 23-story mixed-use tower consisting of 330 luxury one-and-two-bedroom apartment homes atop more than 20,000 square feet of retail and restaurant space. The Shumacher Group brokered the transaction, according to the release.

BurgerFi focuses on all-natural, grass-fed angus beef burgers. Its menu features specialty items like Kobe beef hot dogs, hand-cut French fries, gourmet toppings, natural frozen custards, craft beer and wine, and an overall focus on a healthier menu selection in a modern and urban setting.

BurgerFi will join 12th & Midtown’s growing list of restaurants, including STK, Cucina Asellina, Ri Ra Irish Pub, RA Sushi, Mi Cocina, Piola and Café Intermezzo; Taco Diner, Tabla, Panera Bread and Fig Jam are also slated to open in 2013.

BurgerFi is also opening an Emory Point location, according to the restaurant’s website.
