W Atlanta – Buckhead is pulling the plug on Market, its in-house restaurant. Market opened with the hotel in 2009.

Starwood Hotels and Resorts, management group at the trendy Buckhead hotel, at 3377 Peachtree Street, submitted a building permit application with City of Atlanta late July to remodel the restaurant space in anticipation of a new concept.

Starwood will spend an estimated $282,694 to remodel the 2,450-square-foot restaurant space.

What Now Atlanta sought comment from The Reynolds Group (TRG), Market’s PR agency.

“TRG is no longer working with MARKET so I unfortunately do not have any information for you,” a TRG spokeswoman told WNA in an email Wednesday.

W Atlanta – Buckhead was not immediately available for comment.

  1. FYI, W Buckhead is not owned by Starwood. They manage the property, but the hotel is owned by Noble Investment Group
