  1. Marco’s just opened up on Virginia Avenue in Hapeville, as well. Yes there are TWO Virginia Avenues around Atlanta. In any case, the pizza was awful. Everyone around here tried it with hope it would be good but nobody around here has ordered again. It’s just boring and cold and flat. The spot they picked in Hapeville has been nothing but a revolving door for failed restaurants. Rising Roll, a generic lunch place, a hot dog place, and another generic meat and three place have all failed there in 15 years. Marco’s will just be next.

And that’s fine: Virginia Avenue Hapeville just got a new Mellow Mushroom, open for about 10 days. I suppose it is technically in College Park but nobody will care. The thing is, it’s open.

We also have a Little Caesars now, and their cheapo $5 pizza is still better than Marcos. Ouch.

So why would anyone want Marcos?

Now, a Jet’s Pizza would have been a far better idea. They make a decent pie.
