Jersey Mike’s is opening a fourth Marietta location at 1721 Powder Springs Rd, according to lease intel. The 1,750-square-foot location is part of Battlefield Village, a strip center that includes retailers and restaurants such as Starbucks, Avis, Domino’s Pizza and Dollar Tree.
The new Jersey Mike’s will occupy suite 7 and is set to open by the end of the year. The space was previously home to Cricket Wireless.
This fourth location is being brought to the area by local franchisee, Michael Stepter. “I have restaurant background with previous multi-unit experience with Domino’s and I was always impressed with the community involvement, product, customer service, and operations of Jersey Mike’s,” Stepter said in a statement to What Now Atlanta.
He also shared the cool fact that his partner for the sub shop is current NBA shooting guard Denzel Valentine. “He is a franchisee and part owner of the location, as well,” Stepter said.
Nationally known for offering “a sub above”, the New Jersey-founded fast-casual sub sandwich franchise has seen significant growth and success over the past several years. Jersey Mike’s has multiple locations throughout Georgia. Three other Marietta locations are currently in operation at 3805 Dallas Hwy SW, 2960 Shallowford Road and 4400 Roswell Road.
