The fast-casual sub shop will be located at 3895 Cherokee Street. The 1,550-square-foot space is located at the Kroger-anchored Shiloh Square Shopping Center.

Owner Michael Stepter told What Now Atlanta the new store is expected to open this July. He also operates Jersey Mike’s locations in Marietta (1721 Powder Springs Road) and Smyrna (3240 S Cobb Drive), which opened this past winter.

Sandwich lovers in Cartersville and Rockmart can get excited: Those cities will be targeted next, Stepter said.

Jersey Mike’s, which began in Pleasant Point, New Jersey, in 1956, now has about 2,000 locations. The franchise offers both cold and hot subs, with a signature “juice” that dresses up subs with a red wine vinegar and olive oil blend.
