iPic Theater’s new opening in Colony Square will include a brand new concept — a restaurant called Serena Pastificio, reps for iPic confirmed. As What Now Atlanta (WNA) previously reported, iPic Theater is part of the Midtown development. This would be its first operation in Georgia, which will sit at 1197 Peachtree St NE.

Also previously stated, iPic Theater had plans to include a 6,700-square-foot bar and restaurant, which is likely Serena Pastificio. WNA reached out to Paul Safran, CEO and General Counsel of IPIC Theaters, LLC but he did not immediately respond to our request for comment. Serena Pastificio’s PR department wouldn’t divulge any info beyond confirming the project is real. While iPic’s reps were scant on details, Colony Square’s website gives us a taste of what the menu will consist of, which will be authentic Italian food with homemade pasta and fresh ingredients. Furthermore, WNA obtained a liquor license filing for Serena Pastificio.
iPic Theater will consist of nine screens, 426-seats, and the 6,700-square-foot restaurant, likely Serena Pastificio — which has a planned opening in 2020, as WNA also previously reported. The press material for Serena Pastificio states that it will likely open in early 2021.
(Edited to remove Hamid Hashemi as CEO, since iPic informed WNA he is no longer the CEO of iPic Entertainment)
