Honeysuckle Gelato is one of several tenants recently announced by Atlanta-based real estate developer CONNOLLY for Parkside on Dresden, a four-acre project currently under construction and set to open next fall. The dessert shop serves gelato, sorbet, milkshakes and other sweet treats with flavors inspired by the South.

Honeysuckle Gelato was founded by Khatera Ballard, Jackson Smith and Wes Jones. It began as a food truck before growing into several brick-and-mortar locations, including at Ponce City Market, in Fayetteville and in Savannah. The brand also has a West End production facility and retail location at Lee + White, an adaptive reuse mixed-use development, and several locations in North Carolina.

Other food and beverage tenants coming to Parkside on Dresden include Confab Kitchen and Bar, French pastry bakery Café Vendôme, juice bar Clean Juice Brookhaven, Mexican restaurant El Valle and a modern Asian concept called MIRAE. Confab Kitchen and Bar, El Valle and MIRAE will have patio space. There will also be a fitness option at the the development, with the opening of F45 Training Brookhaven.

In addition to 32,000 square feet of retail and restaurant space, the $70 million Parkside on Dresden project includes a residential community called Solis Dresden Village, made up of 176 luxury apartment units and seven townhomes. Terwilliger Pappas is developing the residential component of the project. There will be a six-level parking deck and an adjacent public plaza.

Parkside on Dresden will be located at 1350 Dresden Drive, near the Brookhaven-Oglethorpe MARTA station.
