HomeGoods, an off-price home décor store, will open an approximately 22,037 square-foot store in The District at Howell Mill on Sunday, September 29 at 8:00 a.m.
The new store, the 24th HomeGoods in the Atlanta market, is situated at 1801 Howell Mill Rd. Suite 280.
“Our amazing values, brand names, and vast assortment make HomeGoods an exciting destination for shoppers,” John Ricciuti, President of HomeGoods, said in a press release.
“With a large variety of special merchandise from around the world, customers will always find something thrilling in our treasure hunt environment at great values. We are happy to provide Atlanta (Howell Mills) with a local HomeGoods.”
HomeGoods merchandise departments include furniture, rugs, lighting, decorative accessories, kitchen and dining, bedding, bath, kids’ décor and toys, pet accessories, storage, workspace, outdoor, gourmet, wellness and more.
HomeGoods expects to fill approximately 65 full- and part-time positions.
Regular store hours are Monday through Saturday from 9:30 a.m. to 9:30 p.m. and Sunday from 11:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.
Special Grand Opening Day hours will be from 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.
HomeGoods is also opening a storefront in Chamblee next month in the Chamblee Plaza shopping center, at 5468 Peachtree Blvd.
That opening is on the books for Sunday, October 27.
