Guffey’s Formal Studio, a high-end apparel retailer focusing on bridal and men’s formals, is opening at Tower Place in Buckhead.
Currently under construction, Guffey’s Formal Studio will open as the third Guffey’s retail location, mid to late May 2010.
Guffey’s Atlanta, a specialty store for men and Guffey’s For Her, a specialty store for women, is also located at Tower Place in Buckhead; Guffey’s Formal Studio will open across the lobby.
Neil Guffey, the nephew of Don Guffey who first opened Guffey’s in 1965, downtown Atlanta, is excited about the expansion. Guffey’s moved from downtown to Buckhead in 1976 and opened at Tower Place in 1993.
“We will be featuring the Anne Barge bridal collections as well as the men’s vendor structure that we currently use for formals and custom clothing,” Neil Guffey told what now, atlanta? in differentiating the use of the new space from the two current locations.
Guffey’s Formal Studio will also offer formal rentals for men.
