The Mexican restaurant held a commendable five-year-run in its Vinings Jubilee home ahead of quietly closing its doors for good ahead of the 2020 New Year.

It’s possible that Guaco Joe’s will reemerge elsewhere, however.

“We are currently looking for new locations, stay tuned,” according to the restaurant’s now-redirected website (it shoots visitors over to the Hudson Grille website, which is set to replace Front Page News in Little Five Points, by the way.)

“Thank you for your support over the years!”

Guaco Joe’s is the third restaurant from Metrotainment to close in recent years—Hudson FC went dark in October 2019, and Cowtippers has since been razzed for a shiny new Chase bank.

Reps for Metrotainment Cafes on Monday did not immediately respond to What Now Atlanta’s request for comment.
