The social gaming venue, set to open in early 2023, will be located next to Asian food hall PH’EAST offering patrons dining, beverages, and of course, games including Nintendo, PlayStation, Xbox, PC, and tabletop. Battle & Brew will occupy a 11,014 square-foot space in The Battery Atlanta.

“Battle & Brew has distinguished itself as the go-to spot for those seeking the best esports and gaming experience in Atlanta,” Lauren Abernethy, vice president of marketing for The Battery Atlanta, said in a press release. “From dining options to entertainment to offices, we are pleased to continue to offer our residents, area workers and visitors an eclectic mix of the best the city has to offer.”

Battle & Brew, a “staple of geek, gamer, and nerd culture in the Metro Atlanta area since 2005,” bills itself as the “first-ever established gamer dining, drinking and entertainment venue in the United States,” according to its website. The company has an existing location in Sandy Springs, at 5920 Roswell Rd A-120.

“We are always focused on making the Battle & Brew experience for the geek and gaming community one of a kind,” Ben Izaguirre, managing member, told What Now Atlanta. “Opening our second location at The Battery Atlanta made the most sense for us because we will be able to deliver that experience without losing everything that B&B was built upon, celebrating the uniqueness and diversity of this community and giving them a new space to call home. We couldn’t be more excited for this expansion and the opportunities this will bring for our staff and customers.”

If The Battery Atlanta location is anything like the Sandy Springs outpost, expect a calendar full of events like trivia night and e-sports tournaments. There’s also the “Power Hour” weekend brunch which includes one hour of free gaming with the purchase of an adult entrée.
