The proposed location recently got an “approval with conditions” from the Johns Creek Board of Zoning Appeals, ToNeTo Atlanta reports.

The drive-thru coffee chain would be coming to 9630 Medlock Bridge Road at the site of a former Jiffy Lube. The shop would be 950 square feet and have a 377-square-foot patio, according to the news outlet.

The Dutch Bros Coffee menu includes coffee, energy drinks, tea, lemonade and a small amount of baked goods.

Founded in 1992, Dutch Bros Coffee is headquartered in Grants Pass, Oregon. The brand has grown a following primarily in the Pacific Northwest and on the West Coast before expanding across the U.S. (most recently, in the South), but it has been relatively absent from the East Coast.

The company reached 800 stores this fall, with plans to reach 1,000 locations by the first half of 2025. Dutch Bros Coffee began franchising in 1999 before eventually moving back to opening only corporate-owned locations.

Several representatives from Dutch Bros Coffee couldn’t immediately be reached for comment about when the Johns Creek location is expected to open.

Johns Creek is northeast of Atlanta.
