The Halal Guys, the popular New York City street cart turned worldwide franchise, is bringing two new locations to the Atlanta area over the next few months.
The first restaurant, at 2925 Buford Dr. Suite #1210 in Buford, will open on Saturday, March 12, 2022, a company spokesperson Wednesday told What Now Atlanta in an email.
The fast-casual concept will be joining the Exchange at Gwinnett complex that features 465,000 square feet of retail, entertainment, restaurants, office space, hotels, and residential properties.
Grand opening day will feature daily giveaways, including a free platter for the first 100 dine-in guests and a BOGO on platters for everyone. During its grand opening week through March 19, The Halal Guys will offer dine-in guests a free two-piece falafel with a purchase of a meal. There will also be giveaways of The Halal Guys swag, t-shirts, and pop sockets, and everyone who signs up for The Halal Guys Rewards Program will be entered to win prizes like a $100 The Halal Guys gift card or passes to Andretti Indoor Karting & Games.
With a few locations already located across the Atlanta metro, The Halal Guys now operate 100 restaurants worldwide. Locally, Franchisee Joe Hafez, will bring the next location to Dunwoody. It will be housed in Park Center, the State Farm-anchored mixed-use, with an opening likely in April or May 2022, the spokesperson said.
