The fast-casual Mexican chain is planned for the structure on the corner of Mundy Mill Road and Curt Lance Way, according to construction documents. The restaurant would be 3,136 square feet and include outdoor seating for 20 patrons.

The scope of work includes demolition of the building’s roof, exterior and interior to “prepare for new finishes” and the “Chipotle look,” according to the plans.

Chipotle was founded in 1993 in Denver. The menu includes burritos, bowls, tacos, quesadillas and salads. There are thousands of company-owned Chipotle locations across the country.

Construction bids on the new store are due April 25, 2024.

This isn’t the only Chipotle in the pipeline in the Peach State. Last fall, What Now Atlanta reported that construction documents indicated new locations were in the works in southwest Atlanta and Richmond Hill.
