There are nearly 100 locations of the fast-casual restaurant serving burritos, tacos, bowls and more in the Peach State.

According to construction plans, the fast-casual Mexican restaurant will be built at 6375 Old National Highway. An outdoor patio is planned for the property, according to the plans.

There are 94 existing Chipotle locations in Georgia, 16 of those in Atlanta, according to the company website. There are more than 3,000 locations across the U.S. The brand has also expanded to Canada and Europe.

Chipotle was founded in 1993 in Denver and is now headquartered in Newport Beach, California. The menu includes burritos, tacos, quesadillas, bowls and salads.

It was reported this summer that Chipotle would be launching its first franchise agreement to bring the restaurant to the Middle East. All other Chipotle locations are currently corporate-owned.
