A project called Summerhill Nail Bar is planned for 565 Hank Aaron Drive SW, according to a building permit application with the City of Atlanta. It appears that the nail salon will be a ground-floor commercial tenant at the 565 Hank by Windsor apartment complex, which is located at the same address.

According to the application, the space is 1,800 square feet. The scope of the work includes new interior partitions, a new door and frame, and new finishes for the floor and ceilings, as well as mechanical, electrical and lighting work.

Construction documents show plans in the space for multiple manicure and pedicure stations, as well as a waxing room.

The owner of the salon could not immediately be reached for information on when the salon is expected to open.

Other parts of Summerhill, a neighborhood south of Downtown Atlanta, are undergoing redevelopment, particularly along Hank Aaron Drive. A Publix-anchored mixed-use project called Summerhill Station is in the works across the street from the new nail salon.
