East Atlanta Village is getting a back-to-basics grocery store.

Bond Organic Market, which currently has one existing location in College Park, lists a new location on its website at 535B Gresham Avenue.

The outpost plans to open in “Spring/Summer 2016.” Hours of operation will be Monday from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM and Tuesday to Saturday from 9:00 AM to 7:00 PM. The shop will be closed on Sundays.

Bond Organic Market emphasizes what it considers to be a return to nature and a return to community. The store only sells fresh, organic local groceries. Further bolstering its commitment to supporting local food, the store partners with Georgia Grown, a division of the Georgia Department of Agriculture.

The shop sells meat, bakery items, dairy foods, friuts and vegetables, and pantry selections including coffee, pasta and more.

  1. I live literally around the corner, but holy shit with those stupid bankers hours I’ll never be able to shop there. Failure out of the gate.

    1. I noticed that too. I don’t get back into the neighborhood from work until 6:30. I would love to shop there but I think it would be better to open in the morning later and not close until 8:00 or 9:00 pm to give the residents time to come back into the neighborhood from work. Please help us shop with you. We need you! So happy you’re coming in!! 🙂

  2. Wow, great news! I’ve been to their original location (close to my office) and I’ve always been very impressed by their selection of fresh, organic & locally-sourced items.

This is a fantastic addition to our neighborhood.
