Borrowing its name from community building language, The 3rd Spot is an experiential, game-based dining concept that aims to provide its patrons with the much needed, IRL space for play, connection, and creativity.

“The true “third place” provides us with what we cannot get from work or home,” shares the company’s website, “It’s a spot to play, to converse, and to explore. It’s an inclusive and accommodating gathering grounds where relationships are built and grown.” Connection is the guiding principle on which The 3rd Spot is founded. “Humans are social animals. We have a primal need to connect with each other. To be together,” the website elaborates.

The 3rd Spot will bring cutting edge entertainment to the Atlanta Market in the form of bowling, classic arcade games, billiards, shuffleboard, ping pong, curling and a 4,000 square-foot patio with dozens of lawn games. The venue itself, spanning 26,000 square feet in the revitalized building at The Works, will blend elements of a bar, restaurant, beer garden, and social club. You can expect, among other things, small plates, craft beer, and an app to help facilitate your experience.

“We’re obsessed with bringing a seamless, fun, and innovative experience to our guests from the jump with The 3rd Spot App,” Chief Innovation Officer and Co-Founder Doug Warner explains in a press release.  “The world is in a very different place than it was a year ago, so we’ve really focused on anticipating guests’ needs and redefining the traditional ‘eatertaiment’ experience based on where the world is heading.”

AMP Up1 Hospitality Group is behind the new concept. Visit The 3rd Spot online to learn more.
