Whataburger Newnan To Debut August 9

Whataburger is opening its fifth Atlanta-area location on August 9, 2023, at 580 Bullsboro Dr. in Newnan.

“Convenience and deliciousness come together with this fifth and newest location, bringing up to 115 local jobs and fresh, mouth-watering eats to the area,” the burger chain announced in a press release. “In the coming weeks, guests will have the option to dine inside, order online or opt for curbside pickup – all designed to make the Whataburger experience more convenient and enjoyable than ever.”

“Our Whataburger Family has been hard at work, and we can’t wait to serve up the brand’s signature, bold flavors and warm hospitality to new friends and neighbors in Newnan,” said operating partner Sheka Weatherford, who will oversee the restaurant. “We’re feeling the love from the community and can’t wait to celebrate with all our fans on opening day!”

Based in Texas, Whataburger has almost 1,000 locations across 14 states.

More than 50 Whataburger restaurants are planned for the Atlanta area over the next five years with franchisee partner Made to Order Holdings, LLC, according to the release. The upcoming locations include:

  • 10106 Alcovy Rd, Covington, GA 30014
  • SEQ – Scenic Hwy N & North Rd SW, Snellville, GA 30078
  • 15 Wallace Blvd, Dawsonville, GA 30534
  • 840 Ernest W Barrett Pkwy NW, Kennesaw, GA 30144
  • 2955 Cobb Pkwy #910, Atlanta, GA 30339
