The 11-story hotel will include ground-floor retail tenant space and the interior buildout is budgeted at $5,837,000.

Announced in late 2017 by Songy Highroads, LLC, in partnership with Hyatt Hotels Corporation, the hotel began construction by filing permits to build the exterior shell in March 2018.

The exterior shell permits had a budget of $6,700,000, bringing the total cost of the hotel’s construction north of $12,000,000.

The completed Hyatt Place Centennial Park will offer 174 guest rooms, a fitness center, pool and lobby food service in addition to the retail space at ground level.

The new hotel aims to take advantage of tourism in the area, with proximity to the Georgia Aquarium, Centennial Olympic Park and the Georgia World Congress Center.
