Portal Guesthouse “will embrace ‘Paths to Storytelling’ as its theme and mission, a place where the story will reign supreme,” according to a press release Friday. “A portal is a physical entrance, but also conveys an abstract gateway to something different.”

“Inspired by the remarkable storytelling of our friends and colleagues at Trilith Studios, our new hotel sits proudly at the main entrance to the Town at Trilith,” Rob Parker, president of the Town at Trilith, said. “We could not be more excited about our new hotel partners, and the new stories that will be lived and told in this special place.”

The hotel encompasses 192 guest rooms and suites, including 36 apartment-style units. The extended stay accommodations consist of studios to two-bedroom suites, and all will include full-sized refrigerators and separate living areas.

“Storytelling will guide everything from environment to guest experience,” said Joe Collier, president and founder of Mainsail Lodging & Development. “Through key guest touchpoints and curated activations, we will transport residents, visitors and travelers into an entirely new story of their own making.”

The boutique hotel will showcase a street-level signature restaurant, fifth-floor rooftop bar, culinary studio and indoor/outdoor event spaces spanning over 20,000 square feet. Other featured amenities include a heated outdoor pool, fitness center, self and valet parking and convenient access to EV charging stations. Completion is scheduled for early 2024.

The hotel will join the Tribute Portfolio of Marriott International, a family of independent boutique hotels that “offer an unmatched sense of character and creates spaces to bring people together for unique experiences,” according to the release.

“Construction is in full swing, and it’s exciting to see this project come to life,” added Thom Cunningham, president and CEO of DEVEN. “Portal Guesthouse will deliver epic beginnings and surprise endings like all great stories do.”
