According to a permit that was filed for change of occupancy, The Morning After will be the new tenant at 881 Marietta Street NW, near Georgia Tech. Changes to the 1,598 square foot space will include new cabinets, countertops, paint and flooring. According to the permit filing, the cost of construction is $42,150.

The Atlanta Business Chronicle reported in May that Slutty Vegan founder and CEO Aisha “Pinky” Cole trademarked a stylized version of “The Morning After.” Information for the president of Slutty Vegan, Jason Crain, is listed as The Morning After owner’s contact information in the permit filing. Crain could not immediately be reached for comment. It is not yet clear what type of food will be served at The Morning After, or if the menu will be vegan.

Slutty Vegan started as a food truck and has since grown to 10 locations, six of which are in metro Atlanta. The restaurant is known for its plant-based burgers and cheeky branding.

Delia’s Chicken Sausage Stand on Marietta Street closed last September.
