Justin Amick and William Stallworth, the guys behind boutique bowling alley The Pained Pin in Buckhead, have plans to open a similar concept — The Painted Duck — in West Midtown, Atlanta Magazine first reported Thursday.
The new entertainment venue will occupy a 26,000-square-foot space in the forthcoming Miller Union Stockyards development, a 130,000-square-foot retail and office project, at 950 Brady Avenue NW.
The Painted Duck will be a bowling alley like The Painted Pin except with 18 lanes of “duckpin bowling,” a game that uses smaller pins and balls.
The venue will also offer indoor deck shuffleboard and horseshoe pits, two private karaoke rooms, Belgian feather bowling, and food and booze.

Parish was one of our favorite date night places. We’d sit at the bar and talk trash with the
bartenders etc. Since we could walk there, we were kinda regulars and always got a warm reception.
It seems like when Barcelona et al opened up down the street, Parish lost a good bit of business. So sad to see it go…
Hopefully they won’t change the upstairs bar/dining room– it’s absolutely beautiful as it is! Since it’s staying in the family, maybe they’ll keep the integrity of the interior.
Good luck!
Went there for scone and coffee before there was a belt line in their backyard. Great building.
