Justin Amick and William Stallworth, the guys behind boutique bowling alley The Pained Pin in Buckhead, have plans to open a similar concept — The Painted Duck — in West Midtown, Atlanta Magazine first reported Thursday.
The new entertainment venue will occupy a 26,000-square-foot space in the forthcoming Miller Union Stockyards development, a 130,000-square-foot retail and office project, at 950 Brady Avenue NW.
The Painted Duck will be a bowling alley like The Painted Pin except with 18 lanes of “duckpin bowling,” a game that uses smaller pins and balls.
The venue will also offer indoor deck shuffleboard and horseshoe pits, two private karaoke rooms, Belgian feather bowling, and food and booze.

I like the interior look and the rendering looks great…if only a single one of the trees in the rendering was actually there in real life! And based on the reality of the sidewalk size and how the current exterior is wrapping up with zero trees planted, I feel confident predicting none of them are in the actual plans.
I must take back my comment. They planted a few trees within the last week and I just did not notice on my daily commute.
Wow the interior (and the guest room in particular) is super sexy– with kind of a masculine vibe!
Home Park, not west midtown
