The restaurant chain will open in Sandy Springs’ Gateway development, at 4600 Roswell Road.

Snooze will occupy a 4,100-square-foot free-standing building, a company spokesperson in an email Wednesday confirmed with What Now Atlanta.

Its projected opening is early 2020, serving “breakfast, but different,” the spokesperson said in a prepared statement.

“Breakfast could easily be just a meal including eggs, pancakes or bacon, served with coffee in the early hours of the day, but Snooze doesn’t believe in waking up at 5 a.m. every morning to serve breakfast ‘as usual,'” according to the statement.

“By embracing the idea of different, Snooze staff (‘Snoozers’) are encouraged to be who they are and welcome each guest to the Snooze family. If you think breakfast is just breakfast, we invite you to think again and join Snooze to see what happens when you combine high energy, individuality, and delicious pancakes.”

Its menu of breakfast and brunch “classics that are upgraded with playful twists” include the Pineapple Upside Down Pancakes and Breakfast Pot Pie.

On the beverage side of things are coffee-based cocktails, morning margaritas, and more.

Brothers Jon and Adam Schlegel founded the brand in Denver, Colorado in 2006 which now has over 36 locations throughout the U.S., including Arizona, California, Colorado, and Texas.

The company will be making its first move to the East Coast in 2019 with a Charlotte restaurant in June 2019.

Atlanta is the next planned East Coast opening.
