The new store is located at Emory Village Plaza, and given its proximity to campus, Emory students will be able to use their Eagle Dollars at the store for food.

Manav Patel of Savi Emory LLC is the owner. He graduated from University of Alabama in May 2022, and he was excited to bring his entrepreneurial spirit to the process of opening a Savi Provisions.

Patel told What Now Atlanta they’re close to opening a location in Nashville as well.

“That’s going to be a great location for Savi Provisions,” he said. “Once we take off, we’ll open more.”

Savi Provisions is a market with locally sourced gourmet and organic foods, fine wines and spirits. The market concept was founded by Paul Nair in 2009. The first location opened in the Inman Park neighborhood and has since grown to multiple locations through franchising. The market has also expanded outside the Peach State, with stores currently in North Carolina and Tennessee, and more to come.

The cafe menu includes breakfast and deli sandwiches, omelets and burritos.

Savi Provisions at Emory will be open 7 a.m. to 11 p.m. Monday through Thursday, 8 a.m. to 11:45 p.m. Friday and Saturday, and 8 a.m. to 10 p.m. Sunday.
