The pet salon sporting the tagline “you shouldn’t be the only one styled by a professional” will use Paul Mitchell products and hire Paul Mitchell professionals and school graduates as pet groomers.

It will also eventually retail wet and dry pet food, dog treats, and accessories.

Costs for the buildout of the first generation, 1,777-square-foot space is estimated at $150,000, according to City filings.

Construction is slated to start in the next two weeks and will culminate after eight weeks with a projected end-of-April 2020 to late-spring 2020 opening.

Salty Dawg joins several tenants such as Clean Juice, Aqua Tots Swim School, Primrose School, Yonder Yoga, and anchor tenant The Refinery, as well as a host of 2020 debuts in the $40MM Westside Village development, which is across the street from the Publix-anchored Moores Mill Shopping center and the forthcoming NOVEL Upper Westside.
