Kimpton Buckhead, the hotel slated to debut in late-2020, is in development for its first-floor restaurant. The currently unnamed culinary project is searching for an executive chef to operate the restaurant and design the seasonal menu the Kimpton plans to rotate, according to an advert posted last week to Craigslist.

Details surrounding the forthcoming restaurant are scarce. A spokesperson at Kimpton told What Now Atlanta the company—acquired by InterContinental Hotels Group in 2014—is not ready to release further details.

Announced in the fall of 2019, Kimpton Buckhead will also have two other unique dining outlets in addition to their first-floor restaurant: a courtyard dining space and a rooftop lounge.

Owned and developed by Portman Holdings, Kimpton Buckhead is the second hotel that Kimpton Hotels & Restaurants will open in Atlanta, joining an existing location near Hartsfield-Jackson airport.

Kimpton Overland Hotel features two dining outlets: a Mediterranean restaurant called Apron run by Derrick Green and The Rooftop at the Overland, a cocktail lounge on the top floor of the hotel.
