Brand Properties will break ground on Northside Midtown Medical this year according to a Thursday announcement.

The “best-in-class” medical office building would be located at 1130 West Peachtree Street and 13th Street. Earlier plans called for the property to be located at 1117 Spring Street.

Northside Hospital would occupy a majority of the 12-story, 170,000 square-foot building with the Northside Hospital Imaging Center, primary care offices, cardiology services and urgent care.

The property would include a class-A office space tailored to physician groups, “ample and efficient” parking as well as an open entrance and lobby. A limited amount of space is still available, according to the announcement.

“We are excited to officially introduce Northside Midtown Medical, a state-of-the-art medical office building in the heart of Midtown,” said Brand Morgan, CEO, Brand Properties. “The continued growth of this market is incredible with more than 65,000 workers coming here every week day and more than 14,000 people choosing to make their home here. Add to that $2.8 billion in planned new development and you have a compelling case for one of the top hospitals in the country to establish a major foothold in Midtown.”

  1. I think it’s a wonderful idea and I just might change my care from Emory to Northside. I’ve always enjoyed Emory but I’ve always wanted to go to Northside and now most definitely that it’s closer.

  2. Looking forward to Northside Hospital opening a facility in Midtown Atlanta. What a great hospital and a great area !
