Game-goers could soon have a new place to socialize and score-watch next season at SunTrust Park.
The Back Porch at SunTrust Park is planned on top of the Batter’s Eye, beyond the centerfield scoreboard.
It will be styled like a Southern back porch and offer a dedicated bar area.
The space will be accented with reclaimed wood, warm, rustic lighting, a variety of seating options, according to an “on the boards” web project description from architecture firm Larimer Design.
The remodel of the existing space is expected to cost $997,443, according to permits.
Reps for Atlanta Braves did not immediately respond to a request for comment by What Now Atlanta Wednesday.
