Natson Hotel Group is behind the project, which is planned for about an acre and is located near the Civic Center MARTA station. A 260-room hotel and apartments, possibly with affordable units geared toward healthcare workers, could be part of the development. Hilton’s new Tempo brand would be part of the hotel. Whether it will be a dual-branded property is still being discussed, the Atlanta Business Chronicle reports.

The group hopes to break ground in 2026, but formal plans have not yet been filed in the city.

The Stitch aims to reconnect midtown and downtown Atlanta, creating a 14-acre park atop a new, 3/4-mile platform spanning the Downtown Connector between Ted Turner Drive and Piedmont Avenue. According to Urbanize Atlanta, supporters say the project could bring $3 billion in private investment.

Natson Hotel Group is based on McDonough, Georgia. Records show that an affiliate of the company owns the property where the Hilton project is planned, the Atlanta Business Chronicle reports.

Natson Hotel Group CEO Sam Patel could not be reached for immediate comment at the time of this article.
