Rosetta Bakery is planned for Two Buckhead Plaza, according to a building permit application with the City of Atlanta.

The company aims to be “an official ambassador of the Italian art of baking.” The menu includes focaccia, sandwiches, sweet pastries and coffee. Customers are able to get a glimpse into the production process via a glass-walled kitchen. Large tables encourage a communal atmosphere, with the design of the interior cultivating a cozy and country-chic vibe.

Rosetta Bakery first opened in Miami in 2015, eventually expanding to a total of seven locations in Florida (with an eighth one on the way), one in New Jersey, and one in New York.

The Buckhead bakery would be the company’s first expansion into Georgia. Construction plans for the location indicate that there will be a coffee bar and indoor seating for 42 people. The estimated cost of construction on the approximately 3,342-square-foot space is $225,000, according to the building permit application.

Rosetta Atlanta LLC was first created in January 2024, according to a filing with the Georgia Secretary of State’s office.
