The seafood restaurant will join Bar{n} booze {n} bites, Morty’s Meat & Supply and The Funwoody Food Truck as the fourth concept located at the dining destination in Dunwoody.

“I am so excited to add Message in a Bottle to The Village Dunwoody,” owner David Abes said in a press release. “We are crafting an experience that brings the beach vibe, welcoming hospitality and excellent seafood to our neighborhood.”

Abes began the revitalization project in 2020.

Chef Camron Woods has taken the helm as culinary director for The Village, and along with Phil Handley, they have created a thoughtful approach to the food and beverage selections. The bar menu features a mix of vibrant cocktails, beach beers and wines.

Message in a Bottle will feature a 100-seat dining room with a bar, screened-in porch and private dining room. In keeping with the spirit of community, guests have shared their favorite beach photos, which are shown in a rotating display at the entrance. The interior includes calming blue tile, white shiplap, nautical decor and unique ship figureheads.

Message in a Bottle will be open Tuesday through Sunday for dinner starting Nov. 10, 2023, as well as weekend brunch, scheduled for early December.
