Owner and Chef Camilah Campbell is planning to open the Love at First Bite restaurant at 1800 Jonesboro Road this summer, a brunch spot and bar with indoor seating and a patio. For those of you more interested in a grab-and-go burger, the food truck will stay in business, but if you’re craving a boozy brunch with a southern flare, Chef Campbell will now you covered.

Campbell is a southern comfort food expert who grew up cooking Sunday comfort food with her mother in Kansas City. Now, she’s got a whole book on the stuff (Love at First Bite), has cooked for a good handful of celebrities, and even has her own apron line in the works.

Campbell hopes to open her new place in Lakewood Heights by late July, and while we don’t have many details yet, we know to expect some seriously comforting food (and maybe a toasted coconut mojito?)
