Krispy Krunchy Chicken is eyeing 700 new locations this year, Atlanta Business Chronicle reports. The news outlet reports that the chicken brand intends to expand locally, but it’s unclear exactly how many more locations could be in the cards for Georgia.

Krispy Krunchy Chicken currently has almost 3,000 locations across 47 states, including about 50 in Georgia. The concept can be found in convenience stores, truck stops, universities and other locations.

The menu includes hand-breaded, Cajun-spiced tenders, wings, sandwiches and sides.

Founded in Louisiana in 1989, the brand opened a corporate office in Atlanta earlier this year, which houses team members in IT, HR, finance, marketing, sales and operations.

“As our business continues to experience rapid growth in the new year, the establishment of an additional corporate office is a strategic move to enhance our support for operators and customers,” Krispy Krunchy Chicken CEO Jim Norberg said in a news release at the time of the announcement. “Atlanta provides an ideal hub for our teams. Its central location and dynamic environment grant us access to diverse resources while empowering us to further expand and advance our enterprise.”

Representatives from Krispy Krunchy Chicken were not immediately available for more information.
