Knuckies Hoagies in late-August 2022 will open a 1,500 square-foot West Midtown sandwich shop.
Currently in permitting with the City of Atlanta, plans call for a $200,000 buildout in The Interlock, at 1115 Howell Mill Road Suite P-108, for Knuckies.
Todd Broaderick, President of parent company Georgia Franchise Group, Thursday told What Now Atlanta the upcoming Knuckies will be corporate-owned, as will a location set to open mid-August in the Peachtree Corners Town Center.
Ultimately, the goal is to grow Knuckies into a franchised chain starting with the restaurant’s first franchisee, Drew Grubbs, who will be opening a store in August in Marietta’s Sandy Plains Marketplace, according to Broaderick.
“At Knuckies Hoagies, it is our mission to bring guests the freshest and tastiest hoagies you will find anywhere,” according to the restaurant’s website. “Whether you choose our famous white or wheat roll, our Hoagie Artists work hard in the kitchen to provide innovative & delicious hoagies, using premium meat’s, cheeses, and produce to provide every guest with a unique hoagie experience.”
It addition to its hoagies — like its namesake The Knuckie loaded with premium top-round pastrami, melted Swiss, coleslaw, and Knuckies’s 1,000 Island dressing — Knuckies offers salads and soups, coleslaw and chips as sides, and cookies, banana pudding, and milkshakes for dessert.
Milton-based Georgia Franchise Group has two other brands under its portfolio, according to its website, Crazy Dough’s Artisan Slice Bar and Purpose Snackery.
