An inventory reduction sale begins September 4.
After more than 50 years in business, Jane J. Marsden Antiques and Interiors will be closing down its retail operation.
Founded by "ADAC Hall of Fame" interior designer Jane Marsden, who passed away in 2014, Marsden Antiques is one of the Southeast’s oldest dealers of English, French, Japanese and Chinese export porcelain, French and English 17th- and 18th-century furniture as well as chandeliers, mantles and other decorative items.
Marsden began business as the Brownstone in 1966 in a small location off Peachtree Road in Buckhead.
In 1987 the business moved to its current location, at 2300 Peachtree Road NW, in over 7,000 square feet within the Peachtree Decorative Arts Plaza (PDAP).
The business continues today under the direction of Janie Marsden Willis, who is also an interior designer, and her husband Mike Willis.
In the process of winding down the business, there will be an inventory reduction sale beginning September 4.
Jane Marsden Antiques and Interiors will keep operating its online business.
