Bussin Jerk will serve authentic Jamaican jerk wings, smash burgers, Philly cheesesteaks and more on Jamaican coco bread.

The concept comes from Marlon, Kitty and Sydonnie Broady, who create cuisine inspired by their mother and father served in their family restaurant in Montego Bay, Jamaica.

This will be their first brick-and-mortar location, but the concept has operated for several years as a food truck in North Atlanta.

Bussin Jerk is taking over the Smokehouse Q space, which is dialing back its expansion to focus on its Roswell and Marietta locations, according to an announcement.

Bussin Jerk is set to open at Politan Row at Ashford Lane on Aug. 9, 2024. The Jamaican eatery is one of two new concepts joining the food hall, which will also welcome Tacos El Kohuich on July 28, 2024.

Patrons can also expect upgrades to the Okay Anny’s cocktail bar in the back of Politan Row at Ashford Lane, which will include a light-up dance floor.

Politan Row at Ashford Lane features 10 food vendors, two bars and a private event space called the Green Room. The food hall is open seven days a week for lunch and dinner.
