Pet supply store plans expansion, seeks larger space nearby.
Glamour Paws is relocating its Virginia-Highland location.
The pet spa and boutique located at 776 N. Highland Avenue will replace the now shuttered Wolf Camera nearby (a suitable choice of space considering the camera store’s name), according to Nichole Robinson, Glamour Paws’ co-owner (Robinson is also opening Atlanta’s first trampoline arena).
Robinson told What Now Atlanta in a telephone interview Glamour Paws will be adding “doggie daycare and boarding,” the primary reason for needing a larger space.
At its current location, Glamour Paws only occupies a mere 1,700 square feet. Its new space is 7,000 square feet, she said.
“Even in the larger space, we’ll be catering to a small number of dogs,” Robinson said. “We’re able to provide our customer’s pets with more attention this way.”
Glamour Paws also plans to increase its toy, treat and food offerings and the addition of “Kitty Condos” at its new location.
Expect Glamour Paws to open in its new location at the end of December, 2011.

Uhh..I really like the shop, but am I the only one wondering how the logistics of a doggy daycare/boarding facility are going to work in that space? It seems like those businesses usually have some kind of outdoor component, which can get pretty noisy depending on the dogs.
How can they afford this space ?? 7,500 Square feet ? I didn’t know dog stores make that much income ! I like Glamour Paws Atlanta But unless they plan on boarding dogs I just don’t understand why the move 🙁 Best Of Luck !
I wish people would read the article…it clearly says that they are expanding for “day care and boarding” LoL…reading is fundamental…I think its awesome, I’m a customer and I live in the neighborhood and wish I had some where close where I could drop my dog off instead of hauling across town!! I can’t wait Glamour Paws, this is going to be great!
