A lease was secured earlier this month for the “Mex-Tex” concept in the Buckhead Court shopping center, according to Leslie Mintz, the leasing agent representing Regency Centers in the transaction.

Rocket Farm spokesperson Valerie Failla Mosley confirmed the plans to open a second Superica in an email to What Now Atlanta (WNA) Monday.

The Tex-Mex concept will replace the now-shuttered Outback Steakhouse in suite 100, a 6,600-square-foot space, at the Regency Centers-owned shopping plaza.

Fry, the restauranteur behind JCT. Kitchen, No. 246, The Optimist, King + Duke, St. Cecilia, Marcel Steakhouse, The El Felix, opened the original Superica in Inman Park’s Krog Street Market project earlier this year.

  1. This is good news. Hopefully we’ll have fewer Buckheaders in my ‘hood once this place opens.

  2. I can’t wait! Superica is always a good time. I hope the live music is as good in north Atlanta as it is at the original.

Inman parker, as a current resident of Buckhead, I like to consider us all residents of the great city of Atlanta. Perhaps you should move outside the perimeter if you want to seclude yourself from your fellow Atlantans.
