Pecan Jacks is planned for West Midtown at 800 West Marietta Street NW. The space is 1,320 square feet, according to a building permit application.

In addition to a variety of ice cream that puts a twist on classic flavors, Pecan Jacks is known for its southern pralines and chocolates infused with a variety of liquors, as well as toffee, gummy bears and brittle.

Pecan Jacks first opened in Santa Rosa Beach, Florida, and now also has locations in Destin and Seagrove Beach.

“We only source from the best Georgia pecan farms, use top-shelf liquors and the finest cream and real butter, we hand-select only the freshest ingredients,” according to the company website.

Sherika and Mae Ekpo are the franchisees behind the upcoming Atlanta location. The husband-and-wife duo discovered Pecan Jacks while on vacation, feeling inspired to bring the concept to Atlanta after seeing the joy it brought to them and their young children.

Pecan Jacks will be located at the Paloma West Midtown apartment complex, between Wok Chi Asian Kitchen and Tech Shop & Run.
