Firenza Pizza is set to open its newest franchise in Duluth, according to a press release Wednesday.
Situated at 2200 Peachtree Industrial Drive, the new restaurant will specialize in hand-crafted, made-to-order pizza and will celebrate its grand opening April 11 – April 15.
Guests will receive a free two-topping pizza when they make a $2 donation to Rainbow Village or the Duluth Youth Football & Cheer Association.
In addition, the first 10 people in line on Friday, April 13, 2018, and Saturday, April 14, 2018, will get free pizza for a year.
“We’re confident that the local community will be blown away by Firenza’s quality products, the speed of service and level of customization,” Chris Durham, who will run the daily operations of the new restaurant, said in the release.
“We look forward to becoming the go-to place for fast-casual pizza in Duluth.”
Firenza offers made-to-order pizzas that can be customized with nearly 40 toppings including house-roasted garlic, mozzarella ovalini, and several types of meat.
Firenza also offers 10 chef-inspired signature pies ranging from the Primavera Fresca loaded with vegetables, the Big Kahuna featuring smoked ham, bacon, and tropical pineapple or the Chipotle Chicken topped with crema and pico de gallo.
Once the pizzas are assembled, they’re baked in an open flame stone-hearth oven and guaranteed to be done within five minutes.
Signature 10-inch pizzas start at $7.99.
14-inch pizzas are also available starting at $15.49.
“Unlike most other fast-casual pizza chains where the crusts are premade and machine-pressed, our pizza dough is made in-house daily and hand-stretched to order right in front of the guest,” Durham said.
In addition to pizza, the restaurant offers diners customizable salads, oven baked wings, homestyle meatballs, breadsticks, local craft beer, wine and more.
Restaurant hours are daily from 11:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m.
