Emerald City Bagels, Deanna Halcrow’s bagel pop-up, will open a permanent bakery in East Atlanta Village.

The shop will be located in the former Gravity Pub space at 1257 Glenwood Ave. SE, according to Atlanta Magazine.

Currently, Emerald City Bagels produces about 1,000 bagels a day at Prep Atlanta, a shared kitchen. Now that the brand is moving into a 2,000-square-foot shop and upgrading the company’s equipment, Halcrow plans to produce about 5,000 bagels a day.

Emerald City Bagels caters to more than 20 restaurants and coffee shops around town.

Halcrow hopes to open the shop at the beginning of next year.
