“Today’s culture is exploring the truth, and the truth that we’re walking into is that, as a community, we are beginning to eat healthier and focus more on the things we put into our bodies,” Pinky Cole, owner of Bar Vegan, said in the release. “Bar Vegan’s aim is to create an enjoyable experience for those who want to eat well and enjoy a bit of fun and flair, while still maintaining the vegan lifestyle.”

With a heavy focus on its beverage program, Bar Vegan will serve beer, wine and “experience cocktails” that are made tableside. The Foreign Fruit Punch will be served in an “Active Smokey Volcano,” and other cocktails may come in a fire extinguisher, gas can, ferris wheel, or bank safe, complete with musical sound bites. The beverage team will also serve adapted versions of classic cocktails, like margaritas, cosmopolitans, old fashioneds, lemon drop martinis, and more, and utilize organic, fresh-squeezed juices. Virgin options will be available via a “Shaken Not Slurred” mocktail menu.

Food offerings are what you’d expect from a bar, but vegan, of course: sandwiches, salads, egg rolls, cauliflower wings, mushroom cheesesteaks, sweet potato tater tots, and more, along with spins on Slutty Vegan favorites.
