Cuban sandwich and coffee shop Cubanos ATL is now open in downtown Roswell.
The location officially opened Sept. 20, 2023, at 1007 Alpharetta Street, another step in the brand’s expansion.
The store has 1,700 square feet of indoor space, as well as a 700-square-foot outdoor patio. With seating available for up to 60 people across the dining area, small bar and outdoor patio, this marks a significant step as it represents the first full-service restaurant for Cubanos ATL owner Ozzy Llanes.
“The Roswell location represents an important milestone for us,” Llanes said in a press release. “It’s more than just a restaurant; it’s an experience. We encourage our guests to linger a little longer, indulge in our expanded food menu, sip on signature cocktails, enjoy great wines and soak up the fun and vibrant ambiance we’ve created.”
The Roswell location has a full bar with an array of cocktails, including several versions of mojitos and daiquiris, and a variety of other specialty cocktails, including a Rum Old Fashioned and Cubanos Espresso Martini. The wine list showcases a carefully chosen collection from Spain, Argentina and Napa Valley. Llanes also has plans for frequent wine-tasting events, according to the press release.
The sandwich menu now includes two plant-based options. All sandwiches will continue to be made on La Segunda Central Bakery bread, the oldest Cuban bread maker in the United States. There will also be three gourmet charcuterie boards available: Italian, Spanish and Spicy.
Cubanos ATL Roswell also serves dessert, including the Llanes Family Caramel Flan and Tres Leches Cake, as well as several coffee options, including café con leche, cortaditos, coladas and cappuccinos.
The Roswell store is Llanes’ fourth establishment since the inception of Cubanos ATL in August 2020. The restaurant started in Sandy Springs, and now Cubanos ATL Roswell joins its sibling locations in Cumming and Chattahoochee Food Works.
Cubanos ATL Roswell will be open 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. Sunday to Wednesday and 8 a.m. to 10 p.m. Thursday to Saturday. The location also offers catering services.
