Craft Burgers by Shane Adding Restaurants in Alpharetta, Dunwoody, Johns Creek

Growing local restaurant brand puts on emphasis on the locals.

Shane Shin is opening up Craft Burgers by Shane, a self-explanatory concept where the customer is in mind with every ingredient placed on the patty. Craft Burgers by Shane is currently opening up several locations: 9945 Jones Bridge Road in Alpharetta, which will debut sometime later this year; 10900 Medlock Bridge Road in Johns Creek, which opens in a month; and Shin is also going to open one in Dunwoody in early 2021. Craft Burgers by Shane already has its Suwanee location open and running, at 315 Peachtree Industrial Blvd.

“We wanted to open a restaurant in our local community where our patrons are able to taste local food, be serviced locally, and be welcomed locally,” Shin told What Now Atlanta (WNA). “All of our food is made to order because we enjoy interacting with our customers.”

This idea to focus on the locals led to a very fresh, community-based approach. All of the restaurant’s beef is locally-sourced. Shin wants to serve and support the community as they support Craft Burgers by Shane. Its burgers are indeed craft, quality, and every condiment added is done so with the patron’s cravings for flavor in mind.

“All of our burgers are made with Certified Hereford Beef (CHB),” Shin said, and every patty is hand-made that morning and then cooked to order. “Not only is this healthier and yummier, but it helps us pay it forward locally.”

As for what its most popular menu item is, there isn’t one. They’re all tied neck-and-neck for first place, according to Shin. However, the most popular sides are the Mac ‘N Cheese Fritters and the Fried Brussel Sprouts.

“I’d say my favorite two are the Craft Classic and our Cheez-It burgers,” Shin said. He added that Craft Burgers’ classic is timeless — American cheese, pickles, onions, romaine hearts, tomato, and its homemade “The Sauce.”

    1. <eye roll> Do you place a higher value on yourself as a person because you live ITP? Is your family proud of you for living ITP? Will your headstone say “lived and buried ITP”?

      1. I don’t recall ever saying that I’m a better person than anybody else because of where I live.

My family and friends have enjoyed my beautiful neighborhood and all the amazing
amenities surrounding it– including quick access to mass transit, excellent restaurants, gorgeous parks, diverse neighbors, the BeltLine, and the many parades and festivals. I’m not sure proud would be a word they would use to describe where I live, but I’d say they’re really happy where I live.

I won’t be getting a headstone, because I’ll be cremated.

But hey, if a burger chain that is opening three new restaurants in the burbs is newsworthy or exciting to you— then today is your lucky day!

  1. I don’t see how all these “craft” burger places stay in business. Seems like there is one on every corner.
